Is it for children or adults? Children should have their party in the early afternoon about 2 or 3. Adults can stand to have a party in the evening. If it's like a dinner party then I would start about 6 or 6:30. If you are planning on having a party where guests stay late then I would start about 8 or 9.

What time of the day? What kind of party? If it's an evening party, start it at six or so. That's long enough for people to get off work and relax a bit before the party.

The best time to start a party is 7:30. Just after work hours, people have time to go home and change and the sun is just starting to set.

That depends if you want to serve dinner. Ideally you want your guest to have a good time but you do not want them out on the road too late especially if there is alcohol being served 6:30pm is not too early for those working and should wind your party down around 11pm. Unless you really want to party, just be responsible for everyone who drinks and leaves your place. good luck.

It depends on what kind of party. If it's a couples, or singles mixer kind of thing, I would suggest sevenish. That should give you plenty of time to get everything done that needs doing and a quick run to the store if you find you need something last minute.

If it's a weekday, no later than 6:30. On Friday you should start early b/c people are anxious to start their weekend. 7 if it's on a saturday, so as not to cut into people's busy saturday's. Late Afternoon if it's a sunday.

ummmm.. you don't say what kind of party it is. An evening party? An afternoon party? Is it a dinner party? Lunch? Cocktail party? All would more appropriately start at different times.
