Please, looking beyond the difference in age and whether it is illegal or not. Do you think it's possible for a 21 yr. old guy to like a 15yr. old. Like for real, and not just for sex. Honest opinions, thanks!!

No. A 21 year old would only hang out with a 15 year old to take advantage of her naivity.

There are major differences in 15 year old brains and emotions and 21 year old brains and emotions. Which is why it's illegal, and why it's "a big deal" about age. This isn't to say it can't ever happen and work out. There are exceptions to every rule. But keep in mind that exceptions are just that - exceptions.
Most 21 year old guys 'interested' in 15 year olds are interested in sex. Period. The mental gap is usually too great to sustain a relationship otherwise - and face it, if the mental gap isn't too great, you're probably looking at a very immature 21 year old, in which case... that isn't so hot to sustain a relationship either.
In almost every case, the 15 year old will get screwed. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. And if the parents know about it, and sex is involved, the 21 year old could be a sex offender for life upon report to the police.

i think age should never be a factor when it comes to love but to look at it objectively i must say there are a lot things that can create arguments between a couple with this age difference and not meaning the seven years but the 15 vs 21. as a 21 yr old guy he's going to want to go to places that he literally can not take a 15 yr old girlfriend like clubs and pubs. as in all relationships great thought should be put into it. good luck.

No, not ever. There is no way to look beyond the age difference. I take it that you are the 15 yr old. Whatever the case, the 21 yr old has some deep seated psychological issues that need to be addressed, not to mention the fact that it is illegal.

its hard to look beyond the age differnece but ill give it a try...
i would say proably not beacuse there is so much time and experience between you two that can not be changed, but i have had a friend that went out with an older guy like this and it didnt last long because of the gap....there is some much that you two cant do.
you sound like a nice person....i am sure u can find someone ur own age.

Well you have answered the question yourself, 15 is far to young to even think about a relationship, and having sex at that age is a defiant NO NO. There is no problem with being friends but intimate relationship not really you have your whole life in front of you plenty of time for relationships have some fun at discos etc before you com it yourself to anyone.

When I was younger I always went for older guys. I knew I shouldn't but guys my own age were morons. But unfortunately I don't think it's possible because if a 21 year old is trying to find love with a 15 year old I don't think it's real love. Sorry :(

Legal stuff aside, a 15 YO and a 21 YO are just waaaaaay too different in terms of life experience, what they want out of a friendship/dating relationship, and so on.
I could go into about a dozen reasons why I say so, but trust me. it'd work out well in only maybe 1 in 10,000,000 times. The other 9,999,999 times it ends up with the younger person getting his or her heart broken and sometimes pregnant.

this answer is from my son-in -law who is a 21 year old MAN *** Dear girlie, If you like this man so much why would you put him in jeopardy of the law? do you understand he is a man of legal age. He needs to obey the law to continue his emotional growth into being a man?You girls can chatter among your selves as hes "just " a man but if we don't stay strong and say no, pretty girls like you can TAKE us down...and I do mean down the wrong path.Then as our emotional growth is stunted from hanging around a 15 year old girl and her 14 and 15 year old friends.... you get pregnant because you are in LOVE .... the policeman put us in jail you mama puts us on Maury daddy puts a blackball on us and you brothers beat the sh*t out of us.all this time I work and go to school and you whine because we don't go out or I didn't take you to the home team game. We are not sweet little toys girlie's. We are very busy learning to be men and cannot be distracted by that unless you are a 21 year old woman with those goals in her life as well. yeah honestly i don't think love is what's on a 21 year old's mind most of the time regardless, but especially not with a 15 year old.
