I want to know so that I can print something like "Best Mom Ever" on a coffee mug for mothers day. I want to be able to do it myself without having to go to a printing place or something.

I have a friend who hates a soccer team and is fan of another, he has a mug with his team badge on it and someone break it. Just to amuse him, I print in a lasser printer the badge of the hated team and took some transparent adhesive film, I cut a piece bigger than the badge, some half inch from the border of the draw, and place the badge then the film over the mug. I thought it will eventually wash away, but to my surprise it had resisted a whole year of dairly washing. My friends keeps using it even he hates the badge !

hey, i have an idea [this might take sometime to do it].
Step 1: take the picture you want to be put on the mug.
Step 2: cut out a neat outline.
Step 3: paste it on the mug, and smoothen the pasted picture's edge using a file or sand paper.
Step 4: use acrylic paint to write or draw you message and wait till it completely dries.
Step 5: Paint the mug with a transparent paint/varnish and wait till its completely dry.

There is this special paint.
You can just paint on any glassed surface, put it in an oven for 10 minutes and it is even dishwasher safe iirc.
