I'm pretty sure i was exempt rom council tax when i was full time BA student- just wanted 2 know what the deal was with part time/MA study

Yes , but depending on your situation it depends on how much , seek advice from your local Council.

It totally depends what's in your Rental Contract.

In most cases you have to pay it yourself, in some cases the Landlord will include Council Tax in the rent.

(My understanding is that the person living in the house has to pay but the owner of the house is liable ... so if you don't pay they chase the owner)

The bad news is you will still have to pay, as it is the house occupant, not the house owner.

The good news is that you get a 25% reduction for single occupancy.

depends on you income get in touch with your local council

they still charge unemployed a nominal amount for council tax so you will not be any different, form that I am sure
