Also with regard to the fantastic answers others have provided, Jesus was very very poor, he could not afford a Tomb, along with the fact that he would not be needing it very long, it was borrowed tomb, he had no place to lay his head, he came as the poorest of the poor, he humbled himself on earth, and pay for the worlds sins both then before and to come, he himself has never sinned,

God bless

The Scripture provide an answer for us.

John19:41 Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had yet been laid.
42 Therefore because of the Jewish day of preparation, since the tomb was nearby, they laid Jesus there.

Jesus couldn't be left on the cross during the Sabbath and it was approaching. There wasn't much time to bury Jesus before the Sabbath began at sundown. So they buried Jesus in a nearby tomb which happened to be borrowed.

It's because Jesus prophesied of His ressurection within a few days of His death. In that part of the world, tombs were dug into rocks (expaning naturally occuring caves where possible), and his followers knew it would have been rather pointless to obtain some place that took so much work to prepare (with the cost of buying it) if it was only going to be needed for a few days.

I hope you mean 'borrowed'
Jesus owned nothing.
And the cave tomb offered for him a measure of dignity. At least equal to the times religious leaders.

He was only planning on being there a couple of days or so.
Like you go to a hotel and don't book it forever.
