You gotta be kidding!
You need to read the bible satan wanted to be God and so he was kicked out of heaven. When he was created he was the most beautiful angel, and he then got full of pride and wanted to be God, and out he went. Just because they were talking does not make them good friends. Jobs story is an example for us how to live, Even when Job lost everything he did not renounce God, and then God turned his situation around and he got more then he had before, so no matter what satan did to Job he could not kill him.

Funny. Yeah, actually, if you read the bible, they actually are friends. Or at least, they were. Apparently, the falling out was pretty bad. I have yet to banish any of my ex-friends to hell. Seems a bit drastic.
But, in truth, Alice is right. Just like people, and everything, (The Chinese call it the yin and the yang.) the gods are capable of both good and evil. Christians believe Adam was made in God's image, and yet God is perfect. An oxymoron. Nature did create mankind in her image, and She is both beautiful and terrible.

Satan fights for a reprieve of his coming condemnation and is out to prove that a loving God couldn't send Him to hell because God created him that way.
God made man to prove free beings could honor God above all things and Satans doom is just. It is now only a matter of time. There is no bet, by the way.

God and the Devil (Lucifer) actually are friends. In fact I see them once every week or so down at tito's taco's. But i try to avoid them cause i got in a motorcycle accident with god and he sent me to a eternal burning in the firey pits of hell.Thats just punishment for a little scratch on his harley aperently
