The mother will take care of it for you, all you need to do is look after her really well, give her quality puppy food as this will help produce milk & keep her in good condition while she feeds her litter. Make sure she has somewhere warm, quiet and keep her bedding clean. When the pups are approx 4weeks of age you will need to introduce them to puppy biscuits soaked in water until soggy. Go buy yourself a good book on how to raise a litter and discuss any other further problems with your vet.

Well, it's really important that the newborn gets milk from it's mother, she has things other milk replacers do not have to keep the pup healthy. If the mother's milk has dried up or she is not able to nurse the puppy, then you need to buy some puppy milk replacer, if you get it in the powder form, you mix it with water and get a small plastic pet bottle to put it in, keep it at room temperature or very slightly warmer, careful not to burn the pup. Feed her every 2 hours at first, the milk replacer may say exactly how much on the back... rub her tummy to help her digest (the mother rolls her around and licks her to help her digest) It's ESSENTIAL you rub her belly to help her digest, usually touching her "there" will make her go pee right then. Get a box, put a heating pad in it, KEEP IT ON LOW. put a blanket in it, maybe a small clock that ticks to imitate the mother's heartbeat, I also put a small stuffed animal for mine to cuddle with to think it's the mother and LOTS of blankets to keep her warm. Every week or so, if she is gaining weight (weigh her every week) you can decrease the feedings, ie- after 3 weeks every 3-4 hours instead of every 2, Hope this helps you out:) You will also have to ween her on regular food, if you need help with that let me know.

If she has more puppies inside she will be restless and the only pup that gets attention will be the one that goes to her for it. Are you sure she has finished whelping? Take her to the vets for a post natal check up, it's important that you do, they will give her an injection to clear her out and make sure she and her pups are all well.

How old are they> is the mother alive? does the pups nurse? how many are there?.

You have to give us more detail than just a simple question.
