I'm serious, it's awesome.
First of all, it gets you outside and enjoying the weather. It's cheap exercise. There's always something to talk about and so you're not stuck in any ackward moment. Everyone loves animals and the food there is, of course, not expensive.

The picnic is always cute. Could make it a blockbuster night with some popcorn. Maybe grab a coffee at a cafe (that's like 2 bucks for a cappuccino) and chat there. Basically you want somewhere where it's kind of quiet where you two can get to know each other and get to know if that person is crazy or not.lol but am serious! The first date is like a job interview, and second date is when they show a little bit about themselves.

Go hiking - that is something that is fun and cheap! Or..how about going to the beach when it gets warmer? Also, you could visit the library and check out all the books on sex or romance. Or..cook a beautiful meal together...go on a picnic...rent a flick and cuddle up with a bowl of popcorn. The ideas are endless...play a game...make love in a different way or with play toys.

wow, bummer, sounds like a first if you don't even have the imagination to do what's really fun, like take a walk together and talk, go on a picnic, play a game, .. I get the feeling you aren't real comfortable with each other... start there.. everything else will fall in place... do people really have that little imagination anymore? I's say, go to the beach or a park and have a picnic with home made sandwiches...you will be able to talk about a lot of things, where in a movie you can't. Lie on your backs and chat...very romantic and peaceful!

take a walk along a lake. look for reflections in the water,skip stones,feel the breeze,look for turtles or seashells. Just hold hands and have fun without a lot of people around.

being broke can sometimes be great especailly on a date, it makes you focus at each other more than the things you can buy, take a walk in the park or the city while bonding ,it will take you everywhere too

Back in old school days-- my girl and me had the best time ever.. by betting each other on video games.
we played "pac-man " @$0.25 each....and the winner got whatever they bet,,you can play modern day games..
i usually asked for str8 sex or oral sex or something such as that - and my girl asked for a massage or I had to paint her nails or recite a poem for her -- the winner got what they wanted.
