It depends on your educational and experience background.
Currently "services" sectors are into up-drive. BPOs / Banking / Investments are the sectors offering opportunities at higher payscales. You need to be a commerce graduate, preferably a MBA ( if you are eyeing top posts).
Petrochemicals is another sector. An engineering background is necessary.
Retail is also good space to be in but a tough and competitive one. Marketing is the key subject here.
Best luck to you.

If you are a B.Com candidate you can study CA, ICWA, CS and work as a chartered accountant / company secretary / financial controller or good ceo.
for IT holders there is a good boom for IT and they will get a good perks.
If you study at International business school at madhapur, after completing the P.G. you will get a good perks either in india or at foreign companies.
You can also start business as small enterpreneur to an Industrialist like steel gaint Mr.Mittal. They are pruchasing the foreign companies.
Everything is possible in this world to reach their goals.

There are no good career opportunities in India, not even for very very very hard-working and very very very smart people (which most Indians typically are). India is not the place to have a career (especially if you are not very very very hard-working or very very very smart).
You should consider moving to Europe, North America, or other places where people are valued.
Good luck!

It really depends on what your field of interest is... marketing, such as in outsourcing, is always growing and always will, over in India.
