A psalm of Asaph.
God rises in the divine council, gives judgment in the midst of the gods.
"How long will you judge unjustly and favor the cause of the wicked?
Defend the lowly and fatherless; render justice to the afflicted and needy.Rescue the lowly and poor; deliver them from the hand of the wicked."
The gods neither know nor understand, wandering about in darkness, and all the world's foundations shake.
I declare: "Gods though you be, offspring of the Most High all of you,Yet like any mortal you shall die; like any prince you shall fall."
Arise, O God, judge the earth, for yours are all the nations.

This is interesting, Like Psalms 58, the pagan gods are seen as subordinate divine beings to whom Israel's God had delegated oversight of the foreign countries in the beginning.
So pagans and witches worship these divine beings, which are subject to God, proving God is the Most High!
What do u think?

The gods that he is referring to here are those of humanity, that sats themselves up as a god. Just as Nimrod did.

According to Babylonian Religion / Mythology, the first thing Nimrod did was set “himself” up to be worshipped as a god.

Which can be seen in the dropping of the first consonant of Nimrod's name, whereas we get M R D giving us the basic root for the god worshipped in Babylon, whose name was Marduk.

Marduk was a form of divinity name given to Nimrod.

Where live, human scarifies of men, women and children, were made in honor of him. In the Babylonian Religion / Mythology, Marduk or (Nimrod) held a unique position where he was worshipped as a god and king.

My favorite verse here is "God rise in the divine councile, give judgment in the midst of the gods.

The Divine Councile. Ever wondered what that is?

In Revelation 4:4 we read; And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

Here we see, surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders (or ancients). They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads.

This is another scripture that has lead to many debates as to whom these twenty-four elders represent. There are two different interpretations

Many commentators take them to be redeemed saints, both of the Old and New Testaments; twelve elders of Israel and Twelve Apostles. In the past for many years I held that view myself.

But, I’ve I changed my view because, for one thing, I have always questioned is “if 12 of these are the Twelve Apostles, then John himself, was one of them, for he was one of the Twelve Apostles.

The question I ask is, is he seeing himself seated there?

These 24 elders John “viewed” as saints, because they wore white robes and they have victors' crowns upon their heads. This has suggested to many that they had conquered evil and so wear crowns, and their robes have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. But there are other reasons for crowns and robes as we shall see in a moment.

I have now come to see that this group is probably what Daniel and other Old Testament prophets saw when they looked into heaven.

In the fourth chapter of Daniel the prophet is called before King Nebuchadnezzar to interpret a dream of the King; a dream of a great tree which is cut down and only the stump remains.

Daniel's interpretation was that the tree was Nebuchadnezzar himself and it meant his crown would be taken away from him for a period of seven years, he would lose his mind, he would eat grass as an oxen, his body world be wet with the dew of the heavens, his body’s hair would grow out like eagles feathers, and his finger nails, would grow out like a birds claws.

This was fulfilled of him in Daniel 4:30-33; The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.

When Daniel tells the king this, he puts it in this way.

In Daniel 4:17 we read; This matter is by the decree of the “watchers” and the demand by the word of the “holy ones…

Here we see there are others associated with God's judgment upon this king who are called "watchers" and "holy ones." But let’s continue. …to the intent that the living may know that the most “High” ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

This also explains why we have had certain politicians in office!

In the 7th chapter of Daniel the prophet makes a somewhat similar reference.

Here Daniel, too, saw into heaven, and this is what he saw.

In Daniel 7:9-10 we read;

I beheld till thrones (plural) were placed, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him; a thousand thousands ministered with him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him; the judgment was set and the books were opened.

So Daniel also saw thrones surrounding the throne of God upon which individuals were seated that entered into the judgments and decisions of God.

In Daniel 7:26 we read; But the judgment shall sit: they shall take away his (the Antichrist) dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

Then in Psalms 89:6-7 we read again of this council of God.

For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty (a reference to angels or celestial beings) can be likened unto the LORD?

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

So who are the twenty-four elders? I believe that they are celestial beings who are the watchers, the holy ones, which make up the assembly and council of God.

They are a body of twenty-four intelligent, powerful angels associated with the government of God.

Yes the gods are subject to God, proving God is the Most High!

A melody of A′saph.

82 God is stationing himself in the assembly of the Divine One;
In the middle of the gods he judges:

 2 “How long will YOU keep on judging with injustice
And showing partiality to the wicked themselves? Se′lah.

 3 Be judges for the lowly one and the fatherless boy.
To the afflicted one and the one of little means do justice.

 4 Provide escape for the lowly one and the poor one;
Out of the hand of the wicked ones deliver [them].”

 5 They have not known, and they do not understand;
In darkness they keep walking about;
All the foundations of the earth are made to totter.

 6 “I myself have said, ‘YOU are gods,
And all of YOU are sons of the Most High.

 7 Surely YOU will die just as men do;
And like any one of the princes YOU will fall!’”

 8 Do rise up, O God, do judge the earth;
For you yourself should take possession of all the nations.

A song. A melody of A′saph.

There is only ONE Almighty God. [ Exodus 6;3]
But others are regarded as gods [ small g ]
(2 Corinthians 4:4) among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.

(Isaiah 65:11) “But YOU men are those leaving Jehovah, those forgetting my holy mountain, those setting in order a table for the god of Good Luck and those filling up mixed wine for the god of Destiny.

None of these others are good for us.

This was addressed to Israel. Compared with scriptures such as Isaiah 5, it seems to literally be talking about judges.

Mythology is governed by aspiration and it rules in the world. It only pays lip service to authority, but it runs the show by means of "whatever it takes." If people are to be in subjection to God, then they need to understand what authority is for. God's creation flourishes under due recognition of authority, which is why mythologists are responsible for the dissipation of resources in the world (1 Peter 4:3, 4 - For the time that has passed by is sufficient for YOU to have worked out the will of the nations when YOU proceeded in deeds of loose conduct, lusts, excesses with wine, revelries, drinking matches, and illegal idolatries. Because YOU do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of YOU.)

God is ultimately in control.

While there are times that some of mankind will think that they have 'all the answers' - and they don't include God in any of those 'answers' - doesn't detract from the fact that God is in control. Just shows that they do not/will not/refuse to see God in anything.

While there are times that they might think that they have all the answers - look to history and see the examples of mankind falling into that trap (world being flat was one of those bright thoughts of mankind) - time always reveals God's truth.

I think it's a wonderful chapter about Jesus. But if you read closely, it wasn't the gods that are called divine...how could they be when they are "wandering about in darkness". But all in all you're point about God being the Most High is absolutely true...I hope they see it too.

And while that excellent day cometh, behold, the time very quickly cometh that those people who are now, or the seed of those people who are now numbered a number of the men and women of Nephi, shall not more be numbered a number of the men and women of Nephi. 14 But whosoever remaineth, and isn't destroyed in that excellent and dreadful day, can be numbered a number of the Lamanites, and shall emerge as like unto them, all, reserve it be a couple of who can be referred to as the disciples of the Lord; and them shall the Lamanites pursue even till they shall emerge as extinct. And now, considering that of iniquity, this prophecy can be fulfilled. 15 And now it got here to move that once Alma had mentioned those matters to Helaman, he blessed him, and in addition his different sons; and he additionally blessed the earth for the righteous’ sake. sixteen And he mentioned: Thus saith the Lord God—Cursed can be the land, yea, this land, unto each country, kindred, tongue, and men and women, unto destruction, which do wickedly, while they're entirely ripe; and as I have mentioned so shall or not it's; for that is the cursing and the blessing of God upon the land, for the Lord can not seem upon sin with the least measure of allowance. 17 And now, while Alma had mentioned those phrases he blessed the church, yea, all people who will have to stand rapid within the religion from that point henceforth. 18 And while Alma had performed this he departed out of the land of Zarahemla, as though to enter the land of Melek. And it got here to move that he was once on no account heard of extra; as to his dying or burial we all know no longer of. 19 Behold, this we all know, that he was once a righteous guy; and the announcing went overseas within the church that he was once taken up by way of the Spirit, or buried by way of the hand of the Lord, whilst Moses.

Your God and my God are one! There is only one God, one Supreme Being in the final analysis. Only one Supreme Judge at the final judgment.

I THINK YOU ARE MISTAKEN.
Of course everything is subject to God! But it DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE GOOD.
The pagan gods are seen as subordinate EVIL beings in the Bible. They submit but they keep being evil, anyway.
GOD does not want us to worship these DECEITFUL SPIRITS whom you insist to call gods or divine beings, whatever. Anyone who WORSHIPS these DEMONS does not PLEASE GOD.

IT IS AN ABOMINATION IN THE EYES OF GOD!
The Bible is very clear about that.

REPENT FROM YOUR SINS AND ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR AND LORD!

Jesus Loves you!

The bible is a fiction book too.
So all this things you say are fairy tales. And the "God" you say, it doesn't exist.
