I am an Anglican and my hubby is Church of England. We are both non-practising. Are these two the same faith, if not, what are the differences? Because to me, they are one and the same.

Yes, to be Church of England is to be Anglican.

The Anglican designation extends internationally, though where there are obviously different national names.

The official description of the faith of the C of E is found in "The Thirty-nine Articles" (In every Anglican prayer book )
Now on-line.

But many ministers do not accept it all, never mind members of the congregation!

The difference is where you live. There is another name for it as well, can never remember the other one. It is exactly the same, just different names. Now there are some difference in the "politics" of the Anglican Church from one country to another, but the beliefs and structure is the same.
