Church of God is a holiness denomination. We believe that we can, with the help of the Holy Spirit, live a holy life. We are also Pentecostal in that we believe in "the speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance" and all the rest of the gifts of the Spirit.

You will, I'm sure, get other answers but that is it in a nutshell.

Edit: I did forget to mention that we are a fairly large denomination. I can't quite remember how many millions world wide but I do know that we now have Certified Chaplains in 159 nations.

I always thought naming your church "Church of God" was like opening a restaurant named "Restaurant of Food".

If I remember correctly, they're Pentecostals.
