it is the same as hair.. dead protein cells that dispose itslef out of the body by becoming hair/nails...

Because they are made from dead cells. Hiar never stops growing either.

two before me >>>>>>> have said it all they are dead and unused proteins that come out same as the hair ....... ever wonder why they do not hurt when u cut them
