There is a complex circuit at the back of the speakers which I fail to understand. Will I have to replace the tweeter or can it be repaired? or is it that something from the circuit is faulty?

I would suggest that you post this in the Klipsch forum.

First of all check the wiring; both leaving the amp and going into the speaker. Next, check the volume levels for each speaker on the amp (if you can do this). I can't see it being a problem with the tweeter, or the circuitry, as if something had blew, it would be a case of all or nothing, rather than simply reducing the output. If all this fails, contact Klipsche.

I would be unlikely that the caps or the solders are screwed up. Unless you snaged it on something or squished it somehow. But its probably blown.
