I've heard people say we have a gaurdian Angel ....?

I want to know if its really true and if i can connect with him or her i've heard people talk about how you can talk with your gaurdian and everything. How could i any one know............ I became christian recently so i don't know if im doing wrong in asking this or wanting to know and If i am may god forgive me =(

I know that this is what the main churches want you to believe. Nevertheless, even the angels and Peter and Jesus himself said not to worship anyone but the true God Himself; that He would have no other in His place... Angels are all around us and often guide God's people in one way or another but we don't tell them what to do or aren't supposed to pray to them or anything like that... They have a job to do and they do it and always report to God Himself. They will soon join Jesus in the battle that will put an end to all others, at Armageddon. In this day and age, should you ever think you have actually managed to contact one of them, know that it won't be an angel or God, as this is clearly not what they are here for anymore but a demon of Satan seeking to turn you away from the true God. Beware of spiritism which leads to death to any having a part in it! except for worshiping God in spirit and truth! John 4:24, never give your worship to anyone or anything else! It belongs to our heavenly Father who alone has the absolute right to it!

There are no guardian angels, dear. Think about it, do you ever hear of starving children in poor countries or wartorn countries talking about their guardian angels? There are so many children in the world that cry out, and no one answers. Guardian angels only exist in the minds of those who have enough already, and only want more. If you insist on contacting a guardian angel, then tell it to go help someone who is not as lucky as yourself.

We do have guardian angels but their function and mission is not to have a continuous conversation with us everyday, because some people would tend to rely more on the angel than God. But they are very active in our lives on a daily basis. Sometimes they can verbally speak to us. I can sometimes see them walking in the room after they have delivered a dream to me. They have yelled in my ear in the morning to wake me up. One the angel in my room grabbed my big toe and wiggled it to wake me up one morning. So, yes they are very active in our lives, but their sole purpose it to minister to us and point us to God.

There are also plenty of books about contacting them and communing with them. Check a local Christian bookstore like Mardel's. :)

I believe your "guardian angel" are people that you know that have passed on. You can talk to them any time you would like to. You don't have to pray but just talk to them.
