What color sofa goes with warm chocolate satin curtains?

I purchased a pair of warm chocolate satin curtains and now i'm looking for a sofa and chair set, but not sure on what color or fabric to get. I was thinking about getting chocolate leather sofa. Do you think this will be to much brown. Thanks in adavance for your answers

I'd go with cream or off white. Tan or gold possibly.

Hi - I have chocolate curtains in my living area and was going to get a chocolate leather sofa too! I don't want black - too dark and lighter colors show dirt. My plan is to accent with cushions in lighter caramels and patterns / buttons or an accent color of orange or green or deep red (havn't decided yet). I have wooden floors so that's a lot of brown.... but I plan to also have a soft hand made cream throw rug on the lounge. I have cream painted walls and will hang some paintings with cream / black / deep red tones. I think it would look beautiful - but you obviously have the same taste as me...

Yeah, it will be a bit much to go with the brown sofa. I would go with a deep red, or a dark beige color. Some people might say that a dark green will look good, but I don't think so... Just get some fabric samples and see what you think is best.

If you want a light color, off white/cream would look good. You could even go with a tan or latte color sofa. I wouldn't do chocolate on chocolate.

I think chocolate leather would be great, depending on the rest of the colors.
Paint the room a light or bright shade [ yellow, peach, leaf green, teal ]. Add accessories [ pillows, lamps, shades, rug ] in this shade, and add some brass.
