canon SD550 or fuji finepix f30?

John P may love Canons- but the Fuji is a way better camera. However- the F30 has been updated slightly and is now the F31fd. It's mostly the same camera with some improved metering and face detection added. Oh- and a very nice AutoISO800 mode.

The thing about the fuji is that it's 2 to 3 stops better in high ISO performance than the Canon. So- you'll get just as good photos in daylight, and way way way better photos indoors.

I think you should go for fuji finepix f30. It is good enough with sharp picture quality. We recently made that out while doing a minor research. I feel that way. However you can seek expert advice and go for a personal research. Many stores provide demos. Exploit the fact.

Canon. That's all I'll use, and I'm a professional photographer.
