It's an oddly-shaped 6" speaker with a 3-hole mount, similar to the speaker in a Ford Escort. Most references call for a 5 1/4" because not all 6 1/2" speakers will fit; however, if you have a shallow 6 1/2" speaker it will work pretty well. Whenever I install 5 1/4" speakers in these cars I build an adapter plate that matches the size of the original speaker mount, and cut out a hole in the plate for the new speaker. That's the only good way to install a 5 1/4" in this vehicle.
