You have to become a muslim to marry her.
But the fact you ask such a question shows that your faith is weak if you value a girl over your spiritual beliefs.

BTW. You do know that Mohammed married a 9 year old little girl when he was 54. Yes? Mohammed was a serial pedophile. Are you sure you want to convert to a religion that worships a pedophile? Don't believe me. Just google Mohammed's 9 year old wife. The more you learn about Islam, the sicker you will get. I'm an atheist but I say no REAL MAN would abandon his core Christian beliefs just to get a pretty girl...

I think if your faith means no more to you than some girl, then you really aren't Catholic to begin with. And if you are only converting for a girl, then you won't really be Muslim either. You need to decide which is more important, your soul, or some girl.

It is always possible for you to adopt another religion especially to date a girl. The trouble begins with what you believe, what your family believes and what her family believes.

Conversion to Islam is simple: You state that God (Allah) is one and that Muhammad is his prophet. Simple words but it has a life time of commitment.

If you are really interested in this girl, ask her if she has some one who can teach you the Qur'an, Sunnah. Pillars. Some one (a teacher) from her Mosque. The critical Islamic books are in Arabic.

Before leaving one belief for another, consider what would happened if your relationship with this girl didn't work out. Would you be a Muslim? Return to Catholicism? It is better to have your beliefs understood before starting a relationship.

Finally, what happens if you find that you don't believe in Islam? Do you think your relationship will survive? Remember you are what you believe, and she is what she believes.

Our religion is a good one. But I am not saying the Islam is a bad one. You should convert to Islam if your faith is telling you to. You just do not convert for a girl. Although that is quite flattering for her.

Generally Roman Catholics consider themselves Christians, but if you are using that label and are asking if you can reject Jesus Christ and worship a pagan moon god that doesn't really exist, you are essentially trading heaven for hell and God for Satan. Are you telling me a girl is worth that????

If you have no faith anyway, and all you are doing is categorizing yourself as a Christian anything, even catholic, then I don't think it matters. You can convert to whatever you want. You'll just have to explain yourself come the judgment.

First, how old r u? I don't ask this to be mean, but seriously, you'd give up your faith and beliefs in God for a girl whose religion does not respect yours? What happens when the two of you break up? You'll have renounced Jesus and be empty-handed at the same time.

Use some common sense. If she can't respect your beliefs the way that you respect hers, then maybe you have some thinking to do.

God bless.

You can convert to any religion you would like. I don't recommend you do it for anyone but yourself though. Converting to a different religion because you want to date someone is not a good thing. You actually have to believe in the religion.

hello, to respond to your question, i assume it quite is a threat. i'm uncertain of the regulations surrounding renouncing the Roman Catholic faith, yet I ought to think of there must be freedom of determination for all of us while it includes faith. With that mentioned, nevertheless, on a similar time because it quite is effective to hearken to somebody who could want to connect us back, I ought to share that my own philosophy with regards to the purpose of changing into Islam should not be for convenience. I understand your frustration, yet i think of think approximately your reasons for conversion a touch blended up. you have been uncovered to hypocritical Christian black men; that doesn't inevitably mean that Islam is free of human beings of such characters. that isn't the religion, however the guy. earlier you want to transform for a guy, how approximately you study some materials online as properly as get them from a community Muslim company around you (e.g. a Mosque) so as which you will practice your self approximately Islam first? Islam is extra advantageous than merely a faith- it quite is a life-variety, and an acceptance and submission of the self to easily one real God, Allah S.W.T, and accepting that Muhammad is his messenger. not merely that, Islam encompasses many aspects of living which you ought to be arranged to sacrifice for. consistent with probability you desire to to commence with wikipedia for the fundamentals on the Islamic faith first. could peace be with you and Insyallah, you would be guided onto the right course. Take care!

Thats a big call to make. There is nothing wrong with converting, but do it for the right reasons. understand the faith and enjoy it. Don't do it just to date a girl.

In practise you can. Bt I would think very carefully before you jum into a very big decision like that. If you cnvert you are saying that is your religeon and that is what you believe... have you asked the girl yet? HAs she said no because of her religeon. If she hasn't I'd ask her, there may be some way around it!!!!!
