There are many pain pills and antidepressants that you can take together.
If you get all of your medications filled at the same pharmacy, your pharmacist uses software that checks for interactions between medicines. If you have any specific concerns, you can call ANY pharmacist (hospitals have them 24 hours a day) and ask them, or ask your doctor.

Yes, depending on what they are. If you need to know quickly, call your pharmacist, they have a record of your meds, and can tell you if something may not be interacting right. Some antidepressent medicine is prescribed for pain control, not always depression. That is why it is important to go to the same pharmacy, for your health needs.

Your pharmacist should know about such things . But you should be able to get info from google online if you type in both types of medicine or type one and see if it lists the interaction warnings there anywhere. I would not recommend doing that at the same time as they can cause a bad reaction and it could be harmful or dangerous to do that mix then. Be careful and sure of it being safe first before using together.

It depends on what kind of pain pill and what kind of antidepressant, and yes, the pharmacist should know if there is any interaction. Much of the time, pharmacists know more about medicines than doctors do. I always ask my pharmacists first because it is their business to know.

Yes you can.
They are differnt types of medication and they shuldnt interact.
If Your doctor has given you anti-depressants and pain killers he knows what he is doing!
To be sure you can read the leaflet of info in the boxes and also ask or call a pharmacist. They will happily help you and for your peace of mind it would be reccommended.
Different meds can interact with each other but not in your case... however you didnt mention which pain killers or anitdepresants so its best you ask the pharmacist. Your doctor knows and they wouldnt have prescirbed them otherwise.
If one of them is not prescibe by your doc, and this is why you are worried, then I suggest you see a Doctor and explain things.

it depends on what they are. your pharmacist SHOULD know, but they are humans and are not infallible and not all pharmacies may have the computer system to automatically detect interactions, and if they don't know all the meds you are on, they can't know unles you ask. so ask a pharmacist.

I use that sometimes, it's very helpful

My girlfriend has been taking antidepressant pills and had a major head ache so her doctor gave her vicodine. She did just fine.

It depends. For instance, you can't take tramadol and segilene together, but you can take tramadol and prozac together. All of the major interactions are listed in the drug information sheets.
