It has to do with truth and error.
Personally, I try to be objective. I believed in the evolution myth for years after I received Jesus Christ because I refused to "check my mind at the door". I had alot of heated arguments with Christians back then.
Come to think of it, I still have arguments with Christians. But it has been demonstrated to me through logical and evidential means that the earth is young, that DNA could not possibly have evolved, and that there is no evidence for evolution.
The Jury is still out on the shroud of Turin.

The shroud of Turin has been exposed as a hoax by good scientific methods.
Evolution is just not good science.
[Like the discovery of "Lucy?"
THAT great scientific discoverer was think more about Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.]

I think it is natural for people to accept anything that they believe supports their own opinion. I for one do not believe anything science tells me...for or against God/Jesus. I know from personal experience that God exists and is very powerful. No amount of science can convince me more or less of that belief.

Stop getting Catholics and Christians mixed up. No true Christian believes in such things as the Shroud of Turin.
Our faith is in Christ and Him alone.

There are a lot who cherry pick their facts to fit what they want to believe. They do this to the Bible, history, science or anything.

As far as evolution goes there is NOTHING to accept. The reason that it is rejected is because it is SCIENTIFICALLY UNSOUND! Just in one simple law...the Law of Biogenesis...the ENTIRE bases of evolution is derailed!!

Exactly. I asked a question tonight about how much people accept scientific progress and at what point they reject it, and NO CHRISTIAN mentioned "I reject modern medicine because it's based almost entirely on evolutionary biology".
