Hi, I have severe depression, anxiety and panic attacks. I don't know what to do about it. I am afraid to take medication. I just sit home day after day afraid to leave. You are not alone. I am wondering if the drugs you take help you any?

You are certainly not alone. First of all, bipolar disorder is a combination of disorders, so you do not have all of these seperate disorders at all. If your doctor is telling you that you may need another one. At the prime of my bipolar I was on Levoxyl, Buspar, Depokote, Topomax and one that starts with a Z for schizo but I can not remember the name. Life sucks sometimes and Bipolars need a little help. One thing you should note though, is that when I was on all that medication is when I acted the worst. The symptoms for me got worse the more medication I was taking. Maybe you need to reevaluate your meds with a doctor! Hang in there and email me if you want!

Well, you certainly have your share of psychological disorders and the medicines to ease them. And I'm fairly certain there are others in the same condition. At least you are trying to help yourself. Mental illness is much more common than it used to be, and is nothing to be ashamed of. I just hope that there is no drug interaction since you're taking so many different medications. I assume you're under the care of a doctor for your condition, and that you're taking your medications the way they are prescribed. No, you are not alone.

You're not alone. Plenty of people have mental health symptoms. Which came first though. I wonder though if these are life long problems or if the symptoms came about from all the psychotropic pills that you take. I was on xanax and other benzodiazepine drugs and they messed my head up and it took me a year to wean myself off of them. Felt like I was going mad with withdrawal symptoms and side effects.

No many people get a lot of wrong information, they also can get diagnosed wrongly.

You can't have all of those at once, so you might want to find a new doctor, one who knows what they are on about.

Some of those are different severities of each other, while some of the others cancel out others.

Take it seriously and find a new doctor, the one you have now must of got their qualification out of a corn flakes packet.

I know this will sound cliche' and you will immediately feel that it won't help but "PRAY". Not just a little prayer but every time you even get a glimpse any of those symptoms coming for you...I too get depressed and have a lot of anxiety from time to time so I know you can "physically" feel the symptoms coming on...PRAY...pray as hard as you can, every second that you are feeling those feelings....PRAY even if you are crying...God will hear you...perhaps you will not feel some burst of light burn through your body immediately...but just keep praying...he will come for you......be patient....and believe even when you are feeling your very, very worst and you feel like it's a waste of time...PRAY...God will come for you...I promise!!! And there will be no need for the cocktail of dangerous medications that the doctors have to give you because they can only prescribe medication but God will offer you devine peace.

You never have to be alone..... Mental health disorders are far more common than i think you suspect!

Speak to your doctor about support groups etc, and I'm sure you will find people with the same struggles as you.

Take care

If you have to ask, then you're making yourself alone. Odd combination of disorders there.. I feel bad for you, I hope it wears away one day.
