Atoms are alot like our solar systems and galaxies.

Some people say no because of speed and whatnot, but if you were on a electron it probably wouldn't seem like you were going that fast.

But we are going fast around the sun, around the galaxy and where ever the galaxy is headed too.

The matter in the universe does have an interesting pattern to it.

This picture of the universe looks a lot like tissue to me or receptors in the mind.

Is there any theories based on this?

String Theory believes there could be a membrane around the universe, cell membrane?

ajj085 this is like a star chart pretty much showing how matter is distributed throughout space.
The milky way (our galaxy) would be too small to see on here.

There are no such theories that have any degree of credibility. Unless such a theory predicts an observable effect of some sort, it is of no particular interest to science.

Hinduism says that the entire universe manifested out of God and that it exists within God and that it ultimately all returns back to God. Thus, if we want to get super-technical, then the entire universe and everything in it is God and at the same time God still also exists beyond the universe, too. As one Swami often says "I am not here to prove I am God. I am here to prove you are God." Or as an Upanishad says "Tat tvam asi" or "You are That." (or it could be translated as "you are the same essance as That")

Yes. That's why planets and some moons and comets are considered heavenly bodies. These bodies are constituents of a whole. They are a part of something larger like Golgi bodies in an animal cell.

your statement is much more philosophical than scientific. Of course that doesn't say anything about it's accuracy, but don't expect any theories based on it anytime soon. In science, "theory" means a lot more than "guess". So it would be a philosopher, not a scientist.

just curious, how did someone get a picture of the universe? or the information to guess it more accurately.

It is. All things was created as a living being. It was created as a sign of His existence. Human are not the only being who worship God. Everything worshiped God in their own special ways.

Remember the galaxy that the cat wore in "Men in Black"? I can certainly see how that could be possible.

Law of relativity!
Thanks for the picture!
It's real spiffy and does remind us of receptors in the brain!
