Why the plethora of the many independent fields of scientfifc data and research,

..the knowledge of which is more abundant than any one mind can fathom, hence the many fields of specialisation, and which all independently cross reference and check each other..,

..all conform with the modern mainstream scientific understandings and concepts of the natural world, and that every scientific claim is verifiable through independent testing and research.

This is all the result of many millions of hours of research and gathered data, and at every stage there gas been no agenda to disprove god..!
This concept is only inferred by believers who choose to feel vilified by the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Just how do you manage to choose to belive in anything different in the face of such overwhelming certainty, at least in the very many "verifiable" scientific claims.

It's all there for your perusal should you wish to challenge anything.

Science has never tried to explain away the existance of god..!
Science has no agenda for or against religion..!
It's just that the verifiable facts are there on the table, so the question remains..
How to you explain away all this evidence to make room for you religious beliefs, even though the evidence and concepts can't be explained away, because it's "verifiable"..!!??

I'm Christian with a degree in physics. I think mainstream science has the science of things right. But when atheistic scientists say science disproves God, they are not doing so through science. They have not done a double-blinded, randomized, controlled study to investigate the possibility of God. Science simply says that there are no mechanisms which science now knows that require there to be a Creator who runs nature in an ongoing way.

That doesn't mean there is no God. What if God isn't Creator the way people 3000 years ago thought? Many people experience God, either indirectly or through spiritual experiences. It's not science that discounts this as having no meaning. It's just atheists, some of whom happen to be scientists. They don't know anything of God. Why listen to them? It's silly to say mainstream science is all a hoax. It's just as silly to say mainstream religion is all a hoax.

Science has NEVER proven evolution. In fact, some scientists have shown that the theory of evolution is made up of half truths and assumptions that do not fit the requirements of hard science. Data is always subject to the interpretation of the person who interprets it therefore if you believe that their is no God, you will interpret the data accordingly...just as those who believe there is a God...you will interpret the data accordingly. The simple fact that neither side can prove beyond any doubt their particular stance proves that it is all results from a subjective viewpoint.

As a Christian however, I have all the proof I need living within me. I can't prove it to you or to anyone else scientifically but the knowlege is there.

Science is not a gathering of facts, rather, it is a gathering of some facts, a filling in of the blanks (unknown) and the rest is just theories. To know how old a specimen is, science has to theorize many catalysts that have enacted upon said sample. Such theorizing would be: Heat, Humidity, Moisture, Cold, Ground temperature, and many other atmospheric related catalysts. Since no one was around to keep record of these daily occurences, science has to make Theories as to how much effect these catalysts could have had when determining the age of lets say fossils. Science never claims these discoveries as "Fact" Although some lay people misinterpret these findings as "Fact" when in reality, they are only Theories. Do your homework and you will discover that 92% of science is merely conjecture. There is very little that science can actually prove, one way or the other. Their latest attempt at explaning our universe' beginning is called "String Theory" Like previously "Hailed" theories which have been proven false, "String Theory" will come to its demise in approximately 20 years and another "New" theory will evolve.
Put your faith in Christ Jesus, not man.
God Bless You....Peace.

"Just how do you manage to choose to believe in anything different in the face of such overwhelming certainty, at least in the very many "verifiable" scientific claims."

Well, in the question above, I corrected your spelling of "believe." It was just a simple question, and yet you made a mistake.

How about the "unverifiable" scientific claims?
Human scientific knowledge is based on objective and accurate gathering and recording of data. It also requires an objective interpretation of the data to come to a conclusion, which through scientific method is repeatable and verifiable.

There is indeed a mountain of evidence, and like your simple question, honest mistakes have been made. But even more, dis-information has also been shared by unscrupulous "scientists" that want their grants and livelihood to continue, and their names printed in scientific journals.

No one likes to be duped by a hoax, and in the absence of missing links, the jury must remain "out" on the theory of evolution.

So what have you verified? For example, how accurate is Radio Carbon 14 Dating? How did Job know the earth hangs on nothing? Job 26:7 as the astronauts verified? common sense tells us that what men say and believe can be corrupted whether scientific or religious. Every house has a builder. so how certain are you? To search for truth takes more than just intelligence? So again what is for certain?
"verifiable" scientific claims, would not be claims if they were fact?

All the scientific facts in the world overwhelm me not at all. I love science, I think alot of what science discovers is cool beyond compare, and I love watching the science channels when I'm not reading the mountains of "other" things that interest me, too.

I simply also believe in God. I have since I was three years old. Why is that so bad in other people's eyes?

i understand what you're saying, but it's different. the reason people believe in God is because it gives them a sense of fulfilment. the reason they choose to believe in religion rather than science because it is what they were taught to believe. you can't focus it all on christians. there are also muslims, jewish people, hinduists, buddhists, just to name a few. the truth is, scientists can't prove that there is a God. religion can. i mean, christians have Jesus, Muslims have Muhammad. then you have saints. saints came about because of their ministry to God. they wouldnt have been classified as saints if it wasn't for their belief in God. the only way you could find out if there is a God is if you get to see him, which people think will happen once they die, christians thinking they would get to see him on "judgement day". you can't really rule out the possibility that there's no God. can you imagine what people would be like if there was no God?

Science can't explain a spiritual experience and answer to prayer or the feeling of God's presence by your side.

So talk all the scientific talk you like but science will never disprove God and until Jesus returns God will never prove himself either we all make our choice.
