CF8M is a cast austenitic material for pressure containing parts as per ASTM A351 specification. Its chemical composition is % Carbon- 0.08max, %Mn-1.5max, % S &P- 0.04max, %Si-1.5max, %Ni-9.0 to 12.0, %Cr-18.0 to 21.0, % Mo-2.0 to 3.0. Its physical properties are - UTS=485MPa, YS=205MPa and Elongation= 30%.
