What you have asked is a form of pascal's wager. It is a flawed argument. Consider the following:
1. What makes you think that Jesus is god, and if someone like you follow jesus and finds out when you die that the real god is really Zeus, you're toast. So....which of the tens of thousands of religions and sects do you follow?
2. Would a just god favor someone who did not follow the wrong god (an atheist who follows no god/s) or someone who followed the wrong god? Who is more likely to enter heaven (if there is one)?
3. Do you really think god can be scammed? If you believe in god just to get into heaven, is that a real belief? What do you think god will do to you when you die, and understands that the only reason you believed in god was to get into heaven?
These are just the tip of the iceberg. You can see more if you click the reference.

We are not this body we are eternal spirit souls. We never die only the body dies. What ever our consciousness is at the time of death we will attain in our next life. If we don't make any spiritual advancement we will end up in a lower species of life such as a squirrel or ant or fish. Depending on our consciousness. If we didn't become fully self realized then we come back again in one of the many universes. If we have a lot of good karma we go to the material heavenly planets. (where higher angels live) Not the spiritual world though. IF we commit to many sinful activities we go to the hellish planets (no one goes eternally, that is a man made idea to control the citizens. WE end up on earth as a human where there is a combination of good and bad karma. If we fully realize our eternal constitutional relationship with God also known as Krishna,Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Etc. Then we return to the eternal spiritual abode where there is no more repeated birth death old age or disease. 1. I'm really not worried about it. The chances of me being wrong are the same as any other Theist being wrong. What if it's Zeus instead of Allah or Ra instead of God etc... What if we die, and there floating before you is the Flying Spaghetti Monster?
2. N/A
3. No. But no Theist can guarantee 100% that there is a God, Heaven or even that Jesus did exist. I'm not going to believe in something just because I happened to be born at this time, in this location. If it was 5000 years ago we'd be worshipping the Earth spirits or some other crazy crap.
I'm not going to believe in something "Just in case". It's an aweful argument. We don't wear tin foil hats on our heads - just in case aliens decide to beam lasers at our brains to kill us. I don't check my closet every night just in case the boogyman is really real... It's silly.

you ask not to get nasty, but the question kind of is, so don't be surprised when it's returned.
1. Like someone said, if a specific heaven did end up existing, i would demand to argue my case for not believing it. Assuming God could out-argue me, i'd take it like a man i guess, there wouldn't be much choice in it would there?
2. you mean after they die? if there isn't "heaven", does that discount any afterlife? if there is nothing, no one cares. If there is a general heavenly state that you didn't need to follow any rules to get to, they'd feel pretty stupid i guess.
3. No proof either way on any of the three, but there is proof that some claims of the christian bible, as well as other religious texts, are false, so they are false by association to many.

I believe that there is life after death because it is spoken by Allah the only one God in the holy Qur'an and also in the hadith. The life after death is divided into 2 e.g heaven for people who believe in Allah and has many good doings in this world during his/her life and obey to the God's instructions and prohibitions.I will feel so sad if I miss out on heaven because in hell I will be burn by a very hot fire.

Why does "after life" automatically mean "God and Jesus and Heaven"?
There are hundreds (if not thousands) of beliefs about an After Life. Why is the Judeo-Christian one the one that is "right"?
How will you feel if you miss out on the Elysian Fields or Valhalla?

The " afterlife" for most of us is on the earth, but without wicked people.
(Psalm 37:9) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth.
(Psalm 37:11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
Only a very few have a heavenly future.
Rev. 7;4 & 14;1...
(Revelation 20:4) And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.
(1 Corinthians 6:2-3) Or do YOU not know that the holy ones will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by YOU, are YOU unfit to try very trivial matters? 3Â Do YOU not know that we shall judge angels? Why, then, not matters of this life?

Let’s suppose hypothetically there is a heaven, how will Christians feel when they stand before Allah, or Jupiter, or some other god they didn’t worship? That’s the problem with Pascal’s wager, it’s utter nonsense. Now to answer the question, if this happens then I will admit I was wrong to whichever god is about to deep-fry me.

Can you gurantee there IS an after life? No, no one can. So why get caught up in all the hype. If I was wrong I would demand to speak to the man in charge about all this. I would explain my reasons for my beliefs and take it from there. However I would assume he would understand, being all-knowing and all. So he just better ready when the time comes.

I wouldn't care if there were a heaven for this one reason:
What you see as god offering a choice, I see as god offering an ultimatum, and I simply refused to be coerced.
There is something inherently sick and twisted about creating choice, and then denying your favored creation the ultimate reward if it chooses to not obey you. It's like a guiltless child torturing ants.
