I recently saw a video on the atheists worst nightmare, the banana.
I christian thinks that this is proof of a creator, and proof against evolution.
Are christians that self righteous that they think everything was created for them? If you actually think about it, you'll see that we evolved and adapted to eat things like bananas. We are cousins to the monkey and as far as I know, monkeys eat bananas as well, because they are adapted to do so.
a puddle of water doesn't look at the hole its in and think "wow, I fit so perfectly in this hole, it must have been created for me"
not that a puddle could think anyway, but you get the point. We adapted to our surroundings, thats why it suits us so well.

Wow, whilst did Christian = white trash? Hmmm, if i'm no longer wrong Europe on the top of it is Renaissance became into "all Christian." the unique colonists and the founding Fathers of this super us of a have been "all Christian." i do no longer think of the be conscious "backwards" has ever been linked with Christianity in all of history. whilst did each and every of the Italians, French, Brazilians, Portuguese, Koreans, etc, etc, start up waving the accomplice flag? And in the protection of the South (by potential of how, i'm no longer from the South or maybe white thank you), whilst did hill-billies take over each and every of the government, substantial cities, universities, and all sides of the fashionable worldwide down there? Generalize in case you will, yet don't be ignorant.

Actually, neither is true. The banana in that video is called a "dessert banana", which was cultivated by humans from wild bananas, which are stringy, not very tasty, avocado-shaped, hard to open, etc. The reason the banana is so suited for us is because we cross-bred the original plants until we got it that way.

You must've also read my question as a joke about the banana and the nut too. I am going to repeat what I said to others on R&S. Why is it so important for those of non-belief to get on here to ridicule those of faith, JUST as it is for those of faith to ridicule the one's who lack it? The only "actions" that have ever come as a result of persons trying to tell the other how to believe over the course of the last 5000 years has been DEATH. One or the other has not ACCOMPLISHED a thing. Will you? Will a thousand like you? Will the same amount of the faithful change you or a thousand like you? NO. Why? Because each and every individual has a BRAIN and they will use it as they "please" and have since the beginning of recorded HISTORY with belief or without it. Those of faith have gone throught persecutions, death, and torture throughout thousands of years and have never been AFFECTED by the unfaithful. Will your "words" or the words of a "thousand" like you deter them or me?? DOUBTFUL, for it is written throughout many cultures that the FAITHFUL "stay" FAITHFUL and no "PERSON" has ever LIVED long enough to be as immortal as faith ITSELF............Khan, Alexander the Great, Augustus, Henry the VIII, Napolean, Hitler to name a few are all DEAD, and ALL of them died lonly frustrated men, yet NONE "affected" the purpose of destroying those of faith.............You now KNOW of the best who have tryed........ALL DEAD, while faith lives on..............

I'm a Christian and I think that things were made for humans not just Christians................... God doesn't want you to focus on the religious aspects of Christianity................. He wants you to have a relationship with Him.
You are right a puddle can't think about why it was made, nor can anything else besides humans. The only thing (that we are aware of ) that wonders where they came from, why they are here, and what their purpose is.......... Is humans. It would only make sense that all things were created for humans to use.

I am a Christian and I think that there may be some truth to what was said in that video, but the approach I thought was a bit hair- brained. I'd rather quote scripture to prove my point, rather than use a banana. It might just be me, but I thought that the demonstration was a bit odd. / :

I do think the banana thing is a weak area of proof for God. God is personal, He's in out hearts and there is really no way to prove Him to you if you don;t want to believe. If you sincerely come to Him, wanting to know Him, He will reveal Himself to you. As far as thinking backwards, nahhh, i used to until I found the Truth.

Hey! I'm an atheist. Now I have to be afraid of bananas?
Note to self: throw out all the bananas in my house.
Oh come on. Can't you just laugh, shake your head, and let it slide? What does it matter to you what other people say, really?

If you were a Christian and had the priviledge (spelling?) of having God's Holy Spirit dwell within you, you would have no doubt about either his existance or his power. I know that to unbelievers this is a cop out to your pure science, but we know what we know even though we can not prove it scientifically.
