Has anyone entertained the idea that they might be as dumb or even dumber than humans?

Maybe these aliens have a fear of being abducted by humans.

I always expected them to be short lil guys with green spiky hair and pink sunglasses.

Maybe the alien was bending over or kneeling in my dream!

You know it's funny to me how well meaning people believe that some all powerful and intelligent alien race is going to wisk the world into some golden age. In fact the concept of a powerful entity fulfilling that role sounds familiar. Why I believe it sounds like God. Some people have been watching to much Star Trek. Even on TV people are placing greater faith in aliens saving mankind than God. Of course some might say 'look at the many accounts of people in history seeing saucer shaped crafts.' In India there are books called the Vymaanika Shastra that show how to make and fly what we call UFO's. These sites can show you some of the book:

Yes I'm implying that UFO's are literally manmade crafts. As for their occupants, it's still somewhat up in the air (heh, heh pardon the pun). The abduction phenomena is remeniscient of the Bible speaking of angels coming to people and having sex with them in Genesis 6. Genesis mentions this happening before and after the Great Flood. The children of these ilicit affairs were called the Nephilim, or mighty ones. It could be possible that some of these Nephilim are piloting these crafts and posing as aliens because of their strange appearance. On the other hand, some accounts could be fallen angels masking their presence from human eyes. Either way you look at it there are NO aliens in the classic sci-fi sense.

Actual aliens are people form the heavenly upper planets.(int the material world) not the eternal heaven. And according to the Vedas they are more advanced in so many ways. But they look nothing like the so called aliens of Star trek or other weird looking ones. They are the most beautiful. IT is said there are 400,000 species of human beings but many exist in the heavenly planets. for more info go to harekrishnatemple.com Read Bhagavad Gitga as it is BYBHaktivedanta PRabupada-tells all.

If you are referring to the possible visitations that earth has had of crafts and individuals from elsewhere, it would stand to reason that they would have to be more intelligent than we if they were able to get here in the first place. Although mankind has learned how to travel to the other stars, thus far it is not a probability because of the tremendous distances etc.

Man developed that sense of inferiority over anything or anyone that comes from above the earth eversince they developed the idea of God and angels residing from heaven.
Human concept of divinity always make human to look above the sky and even foods that we dig from the ground are considered grace from above. Anything that fall from the sky is taken as manna and aliens are always regarded to be of higher intellect.

I believe there are aliens more advance than us and also have fishing village lifestyle. What we saw from Aliens are rumors of spaceships, they can come to Earth meaning they are far advance so we assume they are the advanced race.

Assuming there could be aliens [which I know there are not...]
they would have to live somewhere. Our moon, the planets or our closest neighbour, alpha Centauri.
To be seen here, they would have to travel.
And to do the distance, they would have to be very fast or live a long time.
And if they breathe some form of atmosphere, not limiting them to oxygen, they would have to bring their environment with them.
Remember what killed the aliens in "War of the Worlds".
Our bugs.
And they are killing me right now.
I think I have some sort of bug.

uh...who said there weren't? The universe has infinite possibilities, and there are dumber aliens and there are smarter aliens. Those who can build spaceships to go to another planet is a smarter race of course, those who can't are dumber.

I have supposed for a while now that they, if intelligent, already have an understanding about God. Everyone assumes that they don't. If there are UFO's from other places, I would assume that they were being quiet. Perhaps because they are supposed to be quiet. They were told to by one side or the other.

In order to travel to Earth, another species would have to have a greater understanding of technology than we have. It's really as simple as that. If they were not able to come to Earth, then of course they could be less advanced.
