1] first, comb your hair
2] wet hair, apply shampoo to scalp and scrub gently. Do not pile hair on your head or work lather thru shaft of hair.Rinse thoroughly
3] apply conditioner to hair, NOT scalp. Your scalp doesn't need conditioner, and neither do those fresh new hairs. Gently work to ends of hair. Rinse thoroughly
4] Blot, don't rub, hair with towel. Use a wide tooth comb to detangle, not a brush. Hair is fragile when wet, and breaks or splits easily

The best thing to do is shampoo your hair, thoroughly rinse, squeeze out the excess water, then apply conditioner. Use a wide-tooth comb to gently comb the conditioner through your hair. Leave it on from 1 to 3 minutes, then rinse. This should help your hair get well conditioned. And no, it does NOT damage the hair.

Well, you shouldn't just slather it on and let it sit there but don't pull out your hair while detangling it,be gentle..but yes,do work conditioner through hair when in the shower.

well alot of it depends on your hair type..but you should never leave conditioner in your hair unless you want alot of build up. The best way to do it is buy a heavy duty conditioner.. again i dont know your hair type so i cant make a certain suggestion.. you want to leave it on for atleast 3 min and rinse it with warm water not hot not cold. Good Luck!
