It really doesn't matter, they are simply looking for people with degrees. Of course, there are some degrees that stand out more than others.
If you have a degree in a technical dicipline or language that is highly desirable.
The unfortunate thing for the FBI and all Americans is that the FBI will not consider people that do not have degrees. You can be excellent in your particular field, have work experience and be dedicated to serving but they won't consider you unless you have a degree. So many good people are overlooked.

Arabic Studies. I have two friends who majored in that and both got into the FBI. It's an important field right now, especially with Homeland Security. You would be especially valuable if you were fluent in Arabic, Turkish, or any other Middle Eastern language.

Join the military and serve your country. Veteran preference will automatically qualify you as a candidate for employment in ANY federal agency regardless of college experience. While in the military if you want you can further enhance your chances by going to school making you a very good prospect.
