Don't use anykind of cream it will just clog your pours. The key is to wipe your self down with vinegar. It will be kind of smelly for about a half hour, but will take away the burn. Trust me.

An old mother's remedy is now finding new light on treatment for sunburns. Tannic acid is just starting to make some head way in the treatment of sunburns, it may not be a cure all, but it definately helps. In fact some doctors are now recommending tannic acid for sunburns. Where do you find this product, well tannic acid is a natural by product of tea.
When I was little and whenever I got a sunburn and could not sleep or it hurt, my mother would either soak me in a tub of tea, or dab tea bag on the sunburn. She would set the tea bags in a glass of water or tub and once the tea bags had steeped for about 5 min, she would then apply the solution or have me sit in the tub. If she applied the solution she would use the tea bag and gentle squeeze out the water on the affected area. After soaking or allpying the solution for 10 min or so the sunburn area would then be allowed to air dry. It is amazing but it works. it takes the pain, heat and itch away. The best part is you can re-apply the treatment as many times as you want. My mom usually re applied it whenever the skin got hot again, or we itched, or had pain. It usually worked with 1 or 2 applications, depending on how bad the burn was.
Whhatever you do, DO NOT USE LEMON JUICE. It dries the skin and makes you itch like crazy

Aloe Vera plant!! straight from the plant! do not use the aloe lotions or gels from the store using the plant works way better take about 2 small pieces of the aloe vera peel the green skin off one side of each one then you can use a knife to scrape all the jelly like insides out then use as a face mask over knight, yes it will dry after a few minutes but it soaks into the burned skin and helps tremendously it takes away the burn and helps with redness an inflammation of the skin there is no avoiding the peeling this is what my great great grandmother used on all the grandkids and trust me it works I use it on my kids as well

There isnt much you can do, I am sorry. I had a 2nd degree burn(from sun) and I had to go to the hospital because I got sick and they said all I could do is let it heal. Don't take a shower tomorrow, because it will feel like bullets bouncing off your skin....ouch. Also drink plenty of water, burns can cause dehydration.

Keep using the aloe and keep it moisturized, but the only way it will heal is for it to peel; moisturizing it will keeping from peeling right away but it will eventually all peel off, there is no way to avoid it. sorry

Try some tylenol or excedrin to help with the pain and burning. It really helps. Drink lots of water. Sorry, but if it hurts that bad then you will likely peel.

You guesses right, cream do make the peeling less, but does not completly stop it. Try adding lemon-juice to your skin or have huge amounts of water. And try not to get in the sun TOO much until you r skin's back to normal.!
