and the Nazis / Fascists / Imperialists had won, and their leaders had been declared gods by the victorious nations, would Christians still criticize me for refusing to bow down to a 'god'.

If not, then why do you criticize my decision to reject the 'god' that was forced on Europe by Rome, and on the Americas by Spain?

Do you not recognize the similarities to the origins of your own beliefs, or have you forgotten?

"War is plunder of the exterior. Peace is plunder of the interior" (Antonio Gramsci)

You talk as tho' WW2 was a war betwen "sides" when it's just the same old case of the ruling class sending goodly folk to their deaths.

I neither criticize you for not worshipping a "god", nor for not bowing down to the "god" forced(?) on Europe by Rome. What I do criticize is the people who perpetuate that false-god from Rome in our legal and political institutions, and in our churches. For the blood that Rome has shed over the centuries, why would I criticize you?

That "belief" system has no similarities with mine, as I am not catholic and do not worship men in silly costumes, or bow down to statues representing the ancient babylonian whore, Semiramis, as "Mary: Mother of God" nonsense.

Wow, I couldn't even imagine what would have happened if WWII had been won by the Nazi's. Although, I have to say one thing about the US, we would not have given up until we won....

You have to keep in mind too, that so many take their own interpretations of the Bible and twist them to suit their wants and needs. Sad...religion.

Father Guido,
I do not criticize you for not bowing down to God. If he wants to criticize you, let God do it.

Me, well I'm just going to trust him while being critcized for believing Him when He says something. I'm content with that.

It's fine with me that you reject God. Just don't criticize my choice because I've never criticized yours. Everyone is entitled to believe or not believe whatever he or she wants.
