hi...ok, this happened to me last year too, around the same time. (may) my eye (sometimes both) get really red for no apparent reason. (now let me tell you i do ABSOLUTELY NO DRUGS OR DRINKING!!!) my eye doesn't hurt, or itch or water. the white of my eyes just get really red. i went to several eye docs. last yr and they couldn't find anything specifically wrong. i changed my contact brand, and it went away. now with the same brand, it is happening again. i'm thinking it could be an allergy..but i have never been allergic to anything for as long as i know. please help me! and also, i need serious answers. thanks so much!

It sounds like you are having a little allergic reaction to pollen.
It might have gotten under the lens.

Use the simple tears eye drops to wash out your eyes 2 or three times a day. It helps a lot.

Hmm you have a very interesting situation. Depending on what type of contacts you are using you could possibly be over wearing them. You also could be sensitive to the type of solution you are using with your contacts. I would say that it could be allergies due to the time of year but your eyes aren't watering or anything.
You need to go back to see your eye doctor and re evaluate the fit of your contact lenses. If they aren't fitting properly they could be affecting your eyes... now that being said they may also just need to be replaced. Contacts should at maximum be used for the recommended length. Sometimes they need to be replaced sooner because some peoples eyes produce more protein and get them gunked up quicker. When you get new ones remember to replace the case and only use fresh solution. Also clean your lenses thoroughly, meaning rubbing them with the solution even if its a "no rub" type.
I'm all outta ideas LOL.... but I hope that helps :)

If all contacts seem to do this to you perhaps you should consider wearing glasses.
