Both. God and Christ are the same. They are one. This is what we call the "Trinity".

It's both proper because God is Christ and Christ is God.

Both. We should pray to God but We should also pray to the Pure representative of God for His mercy upon us to have love for God. God appreciates more when we serve His pure devotee or son more than when we worship Him directly. Why? because that devotee is so dear to Him being He has given His life in selfless service To spread His glories. For the original new Testament before king Constantine change so many things in the Bible. Google gospelofthenazirenes.com For sincere seekers of Jesus The Christs teachings.

The bible clearly answers this at John 14:6
6 Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

The theory that god is a trinity is false and not a teaching in the bible. However there are some that do believe this and try to prove it to you from the bible and yet the scriptures they show (and misuse the context) only states 2 not 3.

Also why does Jesus ALWAYS refer to God as his father subjecting himself to this higher power. If they were all equal would Jesus have been better stated calling the other part of him Brother?

Prayer is merely communicating with God. There is no formal method. You can speak to God in the same manner that you communicate with another person. To pray in the name of Christ merely implies that we pray in His authority. It doesn't necessarily mean that we end all our prayers with the phrase, "in the name of Jesus." Now, there are stipulations, so to speak. We must pray according to His will, (1 John 5:14-15; James 4:2-3) and we must live our lives right. (1 John 3:20-22). That doesn't mean we must be perfect, because none of us are. And the way we know His will is by reading and studying His Word. (the bible). Above all, we should ask in faith (Matthew 21:22 - And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” also see James 1:6-7. It's important to remember as well, that God answers all prayers (Jeremiah 33:3). He just doesn't always answer in the way we want Him to. He answers in the way that's best for us. I hope I have been helpful to you.

As Christians we are taught to pray to God , in the name of Christ....

Christ is our link to God the Father .....it is through him & his sacrifice that we have been made acceptable to God .

Jesus is the intercessor. He petitions to God for us. You should pray to God through Jesus Christ. I hope this makes sense.

It depends on your religion.

I am not a Christian, so it isn't really proper for me to pray to Christ. I do pray to other deities. Ultimately I believe they are all one - but again, depends on your specific religion (if you have one).
