I know that they are a Christian faith that do their best to be like Jesus Christ.

I know that they are good people with strong beliefs.

I enjoy the faith and find that it's practices are more in tune with how Christ had His established church.

I feel like I belong there more than any church or practice I've been a part of.

I think that many LDS are misunderstood due to lack of research and education.

I know that there are so many misconceived notions about the LDS church due to out archaic and false stereotypes.

Official members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are not Polygamists. If you are found out to be practicing such defiances of Church law you are ex-communicated from the officially recognized LDS church.

Just as in any religion or Christian faiths their are off sets and people that created sects based on the official LDS church. Those sects are not recognized by the Salt Lake nor will they ever.

You can google the FLDS to get more on them. But they are no part of the Church.

Well I think the religion is false. I do not believe Joseph Smith was a prophet and the golden tablets are a farce. The people, however, are good people. I work with a Mormon and he is a great guy. He is in he foster parent program and has from 4-8 children in his house every day waiting for parnets to adopt them. Yeah I know that as a Christian (Baptist type) I am supposed to tell him his belief is wrong and he is going to hell but I guess I am not a good Baptist. I asked him how long he has been a Mormon and he said since he was born. His parents were Mormon. Their parents were Mormon. I asked him if he ever thought of changing and he said no. I asked him if he could be persuaded to change and he said no. End of discussion. He is a good friend and I don't try to push my Baptist belief on him. Maybe I will have to answer for that one when I see the Lord Jesus Christ. I don't know.

Moroms crazy??? Hardly. Mormons don't drink, smoke, or have sex before marrage. I have seen drunks. They are crazy. Yes we have a history of poligimy. But 50% of America today has a history of Bigomy. How many exwives do YOU have?

Please. Mormons are what every main stream christian SHOULD be today but most churchs don't have the balls to actually ask there congregation to embrace the bible. It might make them run away and take their money with them.

Mormon presidents don't get one RED CENT of the tithing that is paid each week. Every one who works in the church does so for FREE.

Paying a guy to preach to ya? Yep, we are the crazy ones.

If it makes my friends happy, then who am I to rock the boat. However if I know someone who is interested in the LDS/Mormon church, I won't hesitate to point out the things I know the missionaries won't tell them (the whole milk before the meat concept). On the flip side, if someone is going off on the LDS church and pulling stuff out of their heinie (like Mormons having horns), I will totally defend the LDS church (for the point being brought up that is false only).

Very good. I have worked with Mormons and went to college with a few. They are hard workers and understand the value of the dollar.

Firstly it isn't a religion ......it's a cult or a sect !

They have distorted & added to the definitive word of God & it is clearly stated in the Bible that the Revelation is the last word !

So if you look at it from the perspective that they have their own " word " the book of Morman , & have altered the accepted word of God to suit their own doctrine , then you have to ask the question as to what their agenda is !

I don't think about it really. I have some Mormon friends and they're religious, and awesome. Not all Mormoms practice polygamy, only some.

If it wasn't for Scientology, I would consider them the craziest of the large religions in the U.S.
