This type gimmick doesn't work with all people.
The disadvantage is you pay too much money for too little results.
Save your money; you worked hard to earn it. Instead, I suggest you get with a professional and work-out an exercise program made just for you.

If they say you can eat whatever you want but not put on weight, they are saying you are allowed to eat say four small meals a day. These meals contain stuff which is not normally in a diet. Things like ravioli, cake, etc. The catch is that the portions are super small. So you can eat the foods you like, but very little amounts of them. If you want to lose weight there is no easy way. You need willpower to stay on a low carb diet and work out regularly. You need to take in less calories than you burn, pure and simple.

They don't work. These are unregulated products and they can make basically any claim they want to. I lost weight rather easily by cutting out high calorie snacks in between meals, most sweets, and substuting soda with flavored seltzer. More exercise too. You have to figure out what weight you want to be (realistically), and how much calorie reduction you have to do to maintain and stay at that weight. Remember -- it's not a diet, it's a life style change. "Diets" rarely work, long-term. Ask anyone who has managed to keep weight off long term and they'll tell you that their eating habits changed permanently. Quick fixes, like the products you're referring to, are a sham.

If something like this actually worked, it would be all over the news, and obesity wouldn't be the problem it is now. Legitimate products have to go through a heavy regulation process that takes years, and you hear about it long before it's available on the market.
Always remember the old adage, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is!"

It doesn't work. There are way too many scams going on out there. The only way to lose weight is to lose it slowly, by making healthy food choices, and by exercising. There is no way ANYONE with weight to lose is going to do so by having a full out pizza fest and then popping a "magical pill" to miraculously melt away all the fat and calories. It's just not happening.
Take it from me, someone who used to be obsessed with diet pills.

Of course this works. By the way, I've got some "lakefront" property in South Florida I'd like to sell you. Pretty much, if it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true. The best way to lose weight is--here's a novel approach--eat less, exercise more. Good luck.
