Though a majority used the words, neither Jewish, or Christianity were asked in the question. I'm beginning to truly believe some people are being programed not educated.

Try reading each word as it is written, not through the filter of your religion. It is hard to teach children who are already satisfied with the little knowledge they have.

Hint for those who villify me without reading the question as writen.

Catholic=Though Jesus was not *universal* some of his teachings were.

A bunch of Christians that just can't answer a simple question about Jesus because they are so deeply propagandized...and couple others that just aren't sure.

Catholic=universal
Protestant=one who avows and makes declarations
Hebrew=By birth
Paganus=people of the fields and Forest and not of the city(Latin Vulgate spoken by Roman legionnaires)

Jesus could claim all of them in one way are another.

Jesus, as far as the names, is none of them. Who is He?

God.

The names you mentioned are human names. Now, what was Jesus' nationality on earth? Hebrew, or Jewish, so that name would apply in that sense. Pagan He never was. Catholic is the name of the Church He founded. Protestant is the name derived from a movement known as the Protestant Reformation that happened 500 years ago in revolt against the authority of the Catholic Church.

In general, all people are part of the body of Christ who accept Jesus as their Lord, King and Savior. This applies no matter what race you are. All protestants and Catholics are Christians. Catholics have been around for 2,000 years; Protestants are a fracture from the Catholics 500 years ago. Pagans are not part of the body of Christ because they don't believe in Christ, and neither are the Jews or Muslims because they don't accept Him either. I'm not bashing anyone, just stating the facts.

Hope this helps. God bless.

Jesus was (as the apostolic creed says) a man very much and God very much.He was ,as a man a Law abiding Orthodox Jew who fought against putting man made laws on God's laws for their own benefit or for the peoples detriment.
As God of course He has no religion.For the first 25 years or so they weren't even called Christians.That happened at Antioch.They were just a Jewish sect as the Pharisees,Saducees,and Essnes were.
Jesus is not a religion but a relationship of man to God.Of course that's not good enough for puny man so to beef himself up he adds ,all the Liturgical nonsense we see in Church and all the crap like "speaking in tounges to be saved"(Retiemybowtie...there,I'm saved!)
You are saved,as Paul says ,by grace through faith and nothing else, least anyman boast.It is the Gift of God.
One cannot earn a gift or else it is wages.
Accept the gift and enjoy a relationship!

Jesus was a Jew, in nationality. The fact is, He wouldn't endorse having so many denominations. As He Himself said, "A house divided against itself can't stand" (Matthew 12:25). Paul writes that sectarianism is wrong (1 Corinthians 1:10). We all need to be in one mind, without all these divisions. He would endorse following God's Word 100% (2 Timothy 3:16).

The Incarnation of Jesus is a mystery. Christians believe that He was entirely man and entirely God.

As a man, Jesus was an observant, and sometimes a non-observant, Jew.

As God the Son, the second person of the Holy Trinity, Jesus is the object of worship of all Christians.

With love in Christ.

Ok, How brainless are you for asking? Well Jesus was Jewish. That's why he is called King Of Jews among with his many titles. However he didn't act like a Jew. He would lay his hands on those who would be unclean in Jewish eyes. He didn't have any qualms about socializing with children, sinners or even Samaritans.

Christ is the Son of God - He was with God from the beginning. When Jesus was born, His earthly mother was Mary. Jesus was from the Hebrew tribe of Judah (the Lion of the tribe of Judah). That means He would have been circumsized, ate the passover meals growing up, etc. But in the end, He is Christ Jesus, the Son of the Living God.

I believe that Jesus is not a Catholic. He's a Jew by nationality. Asian. He's from Israel. He came here not to teach a religion but a way to really get close to God. Religion is created by man to find a way to approach God. But they fail. So God reached out to man by giving us His one and only Son. He came to show the way. He came here not to force us to not believe in other religions. He came here to tell us that He's always ready to receive us when we come to Him. He's none of the above. But He's God.

God and Jesus are not a religion. Jesus said "You don't know the father for you don't know me. If you knew the father then you would know me." "If you were children of Abraham you would do as he did. But you seek to kill me."

Every religion is corrupt somehow by the doctrine of man. People follow a religion because it benefits their truth.
If you follow the doctrine of God, then you will find Jesus. If you follow goodness for goodness sake and not for your benefit then you will find God.

He was a Jew, he wanted people to become good Jews.
And follow the old ways, not to become Christians.

He was Jewish. A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ; you can't follow yourself.
