About a month ago, my now 4 month old daughter's neck crease area and armpits were really red,raw looking and moist. I took her to her doctor who prescribed an antifungal cream. It worked right away. A few weeks later it came back. He has now prescribed hyrdocortisone cream and she has been on it since Monday and it hasn't helped. I know this is very common and was wondering if anyone has had this happen. What did you do?
Thanks!

After you bath her, make sure you dry the areas affected completely, even if it means you have to blow with your breath to dry the area. Then put baby powder on the area. I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 3 and all have had that same type of problem and it works. The area is getting too moist because of the heat or milk ( formula ) dripping down her neck when she drinks.

Go to the drug store and buy a small (green) can of Bag Balm, it works wonders on all skin irritations.
