you could get some of that icky pink stuff from the store...any pharmacy will have stuff you can buy to put on it...i get poison ivy pretty much every time i go outside...:p good luck with it!

Burt's Bees Poison Ivy soap. It's great stuff. Smells terrible, but clears it up within just a few days. Lather up the affected areas and don't rinse it off. Use benadryl cream for the itching or take benadryl pills by mouth.

Oh yeah, DON'T scratch! It'll only make it spread!

Believe it or not, any athletes foot spray, lotion, or cream containing aluminum chloride will dry it up very quickly. It isn't a suggested use, nor would I use it often. Calamine lotion and Witch Hazel work well also. Keep it clean and dry, and don't scratch it!

Go to the drug store and buy a can of Bag Balm. It comes in a green can and is terrific for all skin irritations.

Domeboro solution
Topical corticosteroid creams
Oral corticosteroid medication (such as prednisone)

i like to put an ice pack on it. it just numbs it right away. it's a great quick fix.

other than that-the usual-aloe, oatmeal baths, calamine lotion.
