For what it is worth and I am not recommending this but if you are sort of $ and have lice - my farm vet says e xpiry dates mean nothing they only have to put on the product by law but usually the stuff is still good. However, if the stuff smells bad has thickened or looks weird in any way take it back to the pharmacy so they can dispose of it properly. You could try
looking up on the net for an alternate method for killing lice - like Tea Tree Oil

First, Rid isn't worth much. Try saturating the scalp with alcohol. (rubbing) and put a tight plastic bag over the head for about 15 minutes. Be careful to not get in the eyes or breath the fumes. Try doing it outside in the fresh air. This has worked when none of the Drug Store stuff didn't. good luck.

After 2 years I'd suspect it's not going to be as affective. Get another bottle. They give you a date for a reason.

It wouldn't be dangerous to use but it will most likely be less effective or possibly even ineffective. I'd just go get a fresh batch.
