OK, God conveniently exists outside of time and space (thus escaping all the laws of physics), he picked up some dirt and blew on it, creating a human being. Then he ripped out a piece of this human's body and made another human being.

Why is this easier for people to understand than an idea like Natural Selection?

Alot of people are making the assumption that I believe in the Big Bang and whatnot. I do not claim to know how life started, all I know is that I believe in how today's life forms came to be (natural selection).
Stop making assumptions about my beliefs and using them to attack my question, because they are irrelevant GUESSES.

Some people have a gross misunderstanding of what evolution really is. It's upsetting me. What's more upsetting is that, even though they have NO CLUE what evolution is really about, they have already dismissed it as a lie.

Why that's absurd.
Any reasonable person can see that once upon a time everything blew up and after billions of years it just naturally settled into an ordered universe.
Why, the whole thing is just a coincidence!
Any fool can see that!

How is it that some people believe in a big bang that came from nothingness and believe in a science that goes completely against the 2nd law of thermodynmaics.

You say the Universe was created From a Big Bang?
From what?
And whatever you say what elements came together to make the Big Bang, I will ask you were those elemenst came from and continue to do so until infinity.
I want to know how the something came from nothing with testable evidence that i test test and examine right here and right now, I do not want fancy fabricated theories put together by biased athiest scientist that made up a bunch of jumk and brainwashed people into beleiving it.
I want testable evidence.
And the only evidence I will accept is You speaking into existance from nothing a Big bang, if you cannot do that then I win and you lose and you will accept it.
period
Get over it.
And, before you ask, God exists in eternity, Time itself was created By God for us as He does not need it, God exists always, He was never created, He never had a beginning.

Now with that answered, produce a Big bang right here and right now. or you lose.

Will someone please let these ignorami that are posting about the absurdity of all life coming from monkeys know that the theory of evolution/natural selection DOES NOT say that humans evolved from monkeys? All it is saying is that monkeys, humans, and many other animals have a common ancestor somewhere along the evolutionary chain.
JTFC!
Also, someone used the argument that it is illogical to believe in the theory of the Big Bang, because you can't create the elements of the big bang from nothingness ( I am paraphrasing). He said that you have to have evidence that is scientifically testable in order for him to believe in the Big Bang theory.
Here is the thing: The dude's argument is fairly logical until he mentions that he believes in a God that created the universe and has existed for all eternity. How is it that he can so easily accept that theory without using any logic or scientific evidence whatsoever, but he has to have proof for the Big Bang? He would probably say that it is just a matter of faith or something like that, but the thing is, you can't use logic in the first part of your argument and then switch to magic, mysticism, miracles, whatever you want to call it in the second part. If you're going to argue AGAINST the big bang theory using a rational, evidence based argument, then you must continue arguing FOR the creationism theory using the same thing. You can't switch your premises in the middle of your assertions. You just can't. K?
I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you believe God can just "happen", why don't you believe that the Big Bang can just "happen"? And if you need proof for the Big Bang, why don't you need proof for God?

properly, specific, anybody could make it sound stupid... yet replace "invisible sky fairy" with "The Lord," and "dirt" with "clay," and you're especially lots orthodox. yet yeah, i understand, it nevertheless sounds stupid, in case you insist on taking it "actually" as a element of religion. Honor curler is sturdy to giggle at you, Christians, in case you think that Genesis is history. by using the way i admire how "religious" varieties thoroughly distort all experience out of a scientific theory, in part intentionally yet usually by using authentic lack of expertise, and then element to the concoction they have only invented and mislabeled "evolution" or "enormous Bang" as though it truly is an indictment of technology!

LOL!!!! I love your question and yes I am an Atheist. Genesis was written by primitive men and not some invisible sky fairy( o by the way thanks for the lol word for "god".). I grew up a Lutheran and became an Atheist because it made sense! The Bible is just like Santa Claus and the Tooth fairy.

Actually whats funny is the whole rib story is the second version of creationism. The first teaches they were made together.

Conflict in the very beginning of the bible. I think I'd believe that we evolved from palatypus' a mere 200 years ago befor I'd believe in stories like the one you just pointed out in the bible. Much less that the bible is the "infalliable" word of g-d.

Oh man, you know I am stupid. You are right. It is so much wiser to believe we evolved from a monkey. Premodial soup right? Do I have it right? Big bang? Who made the stuff in the big bang? I see...nobody knows? OK I am convinced!!!

Science says we're made of star dust, dirt.

Even if you believe in evolution we had to come from somewhere and at one time there was nothing here but dirt.

Because they are VERY VERY ignorant, shallow, self serving and fearful..!!

Please give the whole "no transitional fossils" and "we came from monkeys" thing a rest you stupid people.
You are the only ones suggesting that is the case, maybe you could explain why you feel the need to make up lies like that..?
More incorrect assumption and fabricated lies from the christian set.. Fools..!!
