He's not all loving. Don't drink the Kool-aid.

According to the Bible, God drowned, sickened, and slaughtered millions, and repeatedly COMMANDED his followers to kidnap, hurt and kill other people. There is NOTHING moral, good, or loving about him. READ the ENTIRE Bible and see what it REALLY says.

The same way Abraham was ready to sacrifice. Abraham did not know how, but he expected God to keep His promise through his son Issac. If that meant raising him from the dead, the so be it. Abraham trusted God. I am so humbled and grateful for this kind of faith.

In order for divine retribution to be attained, someone had to die for the human race. Adam 1 was a screw up. All his children were the same. Adam 2 had to be perfect. Only Jesus Christ could pull off a life on earth without sin. So it was He who had to pay for our sin with His own sinless blood.

If He refused or failed, then all humanity would be forever rejected because of its sinfulness.

This is why it is called the Good News. The inconsistencies we hate about ourselves and others do not matter any more. The horrible things we have done can be forgiven. We can live in peace and know that all is well if only we accept this precious gift of love from our Creator.

From a selfish and judgmental point of view it seems that there was no Love in this act. But oh, how wrong you are.

You reported it precisely. the way christians describe the affection of God seems precisely like the WRATH OF guy! you get carry of it. considerable stream christianity has created the author God in a ineffective ringer for .............. guy! and you're splendid to not worship a ineffective ringer for a guy. it is greater effective to not worship a god in any respect. Hell is fake doctrine. It would not exists. Wrath will ensue while Christ returns, besides the incontrovertible fact that it is not void of Gods love and mercy. Wrath will rehabilitate people who're in it for a time, till they are made organic. Then they are going to be lead into the dominion of God. 'hearth' is meant to tutor Gods power. yet purely like the burning bush - it destroys something that's not of God. non secular 'hearth' makes one holy. Evil would be destroyed, not mankind. The definition of affection is interior the bible, and christians generally forget approximately approximately it. yet you examine it, and comprehend that this verse describes the God that created the universe, and you. It describes love that maximum people are actually unable to. God IS love, and via this definition... can not ever torture. You dont choose a church, a priest or something. purely have wish in this verse. Thats it. one million Cor 13 4 Love is affected person, love is form. It would not envy, it would not boast, it is not proud. 5 it is not impolite, it is not self-searching for, it is not fairly angered, it retains no checklist of wrongs. 6 Love would not appreciate evil yet rejoices with the certainty. 7 it continually protects, continually trusts, continually hopes, continually perseveres. Love under no circumstances fails. christian

It was by willing, loving consent the Son agreed to die to redeem mankind before the creation existed. God anticipated the fall of Mankind.
That is why the Bible refers to Him as "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

The question is, do you believe the testimony God has borne concerning His Son? Or do you call Him a liar?

Jesus disciple Peter tried to prevent the soldiers from taking Jesus and Jesus told Peter," Get thee behind me Satan." This was God's plan for the salvation of mankind. We may wonder why it had to be this way, we all do at times. However, if one knows God then you know that all He does is for Good. Jesus Himself freely gave of his life to save you. Why not just accept this gift and honour Him.
