Is marriage about two people loving each other or does the state care more about the protection of procreation and care of the next generation. A union between a man and a women is the only way to produce and care for the next generation.
When a man/man or women/women marry is it only about love and if it is only about love what does the government care about love?

Also, no matter how much you want to a child has to be produced with both Sperm and an Egg. You can aid but the union can never produce a child, which is a huge underlying part of marriage.

Just because a couple is infertile doesn't mean that a child will never be produced. Sometimes the child isn't produced for 10 years, but at least there is a chance that a child can be produced and same sex couples cannot produce any child EVER.

You hit the nail on the head.
Apparently love is irrelevant. Two people can love each other more than anyone else has ever loved each other in the world, but it wouldn't mean a thing to the government if they aren't a man and a woman.
I, and many women and men do not even want to have kids. Should we be denied the right to get married just because we do not wish to popluate the Earth? Some people can't have children either. How about them?

For whatever reason homosexuals are what they are, weather is biological or psychological.
They should be looking for a cure.
Sure they may like being gay.
But what if it’s biological? Wouldn’t you want to be cured?
With the right hormones that they don’t produce we could make them strait… um yes it has worked.
Now let’s say they’re gay because of a psychological reason.
Again wouldn’t you want to be cured? With the right treatment they could be strait.
Now I know their going to say a bunch of crap like “We can’t help being the way we are” or
“We like being gay”.
Ok well I covered the both possibilities of their condition, Biological and Psychological.
You say anything of the sort it’s your own fault that society doesn’t accept you.
Should gays be allowed to get married?
Well the underlining factor in this question is their biologically or psychologically sick… right?
So how does this entitle them to special rights?
I find it funny that they march about how proud they are for having a handicap.
If anything they should be marching for a cure to their plight.
You know a not even 50 years ago, if someone said anything about gays getting married you’d be shot before you could finish making a point.
What’s next? Bestiality? Getting married to you pet?
Sure you’re going to say “no way, it will never happen!” or “It’s not the same thing”( isn’t it?)
Well that’s what they said about gays getting married.
Hell all you have to do is make a good argument that your animal likes it too.
How many people ever heard of the donkey show?
Case in point, the donkey LOVES what the woman was doing to it.
I’m sure it had feeling for her.
Yes maybe in 50 years that’ll be legal too.

Marriage is pretty much a socio-economical arrangement between 2 people and the state.
Being married gives people benefits that single people don't have.
And if you think the state gives a damn about love, as far as a marriage is concerned, try getting a marriage license without paying for it.
Same thing goes for a divorce settlement. Try getting one of those for free. The state doesn't care about love when it comes to marriage, or a lack of love when it comes to getting a divorce. The state wants your money. Plain and simple.

I do not honestly see a query to your "query." Nevertheless... The problem is the church's stance that being a gay is a sin. Gay intercourse was once condemned via Moses, most likely for sensible factors like all of the leisure of the Mosaic legislation, however no longer via God Almighty and no longer via Jesus. While we do not recognize but the explanations of homosexuality and are simplest not too long ago starting to comprehend the character of it, we do recognize that there's most likely not anything inherently "sinful" or immoral approximately gay relationships and not anything remotely dangerous to society, possibly even rewarding. The fuss over homosexuality and homosexual marriage all turns out to quantity to a determined have to believe awesome to any person else, to be competent to assert a fame in society that may be denied to others. Some persons have a tendency to take the incorrect problems some distance too critically. If you like your youngsters, you wish them to be healthful and glad. Any devout notion that places bigotry forward of that's not valued at spit.

Marriage is a legally binding contract. The contract then can be breeched and the innocent victim awarded damages (divorce settlement, child support, etc.). Or ability to receive the life insurance if the other passes on.
No, in the state's eyes, it's not about love.

Well, I think the U.S. still has some bastion of moral dignity left, so they still think that marriage is meant for a MAN and WOMAN. Two people can love each other, go ahead and be gay. That doesn't mean I'm going to support you two raising a child together or getting healthcare benefits.
And no, I'm not a gay basher!

same-sex couples can have or adopt children, too. should infertile straight couples be denied the right to marry? should marriages be annulled once women pass menopause? no.
since there are state benefits for marriage, it must be fairly available to all.
I'm straight, BTW.
