I pretty much don't think people should get their tattoo ideas from strangers. That being said, it reminded me of my apprentice and my head body artist's wedding last October where they tattooed each other simultaneously during the wedding reception - it was pretty fun! One has the top part of a skeleton key and the other has the bottom....on their legs.
Good luck with coming up with something - I am sure you will find something you both can cherish - do it at home AFTER the wedding and honeymoon - by then you will know exactly what you want.

No suggestions on tattoos, but I'm assuming you aren't going to get the tattoo before you go or if you are going to get one while on your honeymoon, wait until the very last of it. You can't let the sun hit it or be in the water for quite some time after getting a tattoo. You don't want to spoil your trip!
Only other suggestion - no names. I've been married 20 years but still wouldn't put my husbands name on me and vice versa.

wait until after the honeymoon and you are back in your hometown, that way if you need anything retouched or have problems you artist is right there and not half the country away.
also that will give you two time to think of something. maybe something will come up during your honeymoon that you wouldn't have thought of before :)

Whatever you decide, remember this. A tattoo is forever, a marriage may not be. Anyway Good Luck and congrats.

What about something like you getting a really pretty heart with a key hole in the middle and him getting a key (the big ones they used back in the day).

Don't do it unless you want to break up. Matching tattoos is the kiss of death.

Ok you both should get the a same tattoo together. on your writs. both of them. put "In love" on the left wrist and on the right wrist put "and death". I think that would be great! " In love and death"
