Well first of all Adam, and Eve didn't have only 2 sons. Genesis 4:1,2- lists Cain, and Abel, Genesis 4: 25,26 lists 2 more sons Seth, and Enosh. The bible was shown to man through Gods eyes. We are only men, and the bible explains that our wisdom is not Gods wisdom. Christanity is a faith truth. Everybody has a belief, and an athiest can be put into a catagory of a religion also. The bible says that in Genesis 3:3 That the serpant was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord had made. In fact 2 Peter 2:12 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught, and destroyed, speak evel of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish, in their own corruption. Satan is very intelligent, and many people will not believe, which you see this was written over 2000 years ago. What is also incredible is that The Prophet Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 53 that Jesus would be crusified around 700 years before Jesus was born. It even lists the ways he would be tourched, and the reasons for each injury. I suggest, to repent of our sins, and accept Jesus as your Lord, and savior, instead of believing lies that was given by a creature that is the king of liers. He only wishes to kill still, and destroy. Ezekiel 33:11 says that God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. God is a blessing God and that is what you will recieve if you accept Jesus. If you have any doubt, pray for God in the name of Jesus to send laberors accross your path, to help you believe. God Bless

Genesis 4:17 says, "Cain lay with his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch." Who was his wife? It is implied in the biblical text that Cain married one of his sisters. Several facts lead us to this conclusion.
First, it is clear that Adam and Eve had a number of children. Genesis 5:4 says, "After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters." Since Adam and Eve were the first man and woman, and since God had commanded them (and their descendants) to be fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:28), it seems reasonable to conclude that Cain married one of his many sisters. It is also possible that he married a niece or even a grandniece.
One must keep in mind that in the early years of the human race there were no genetic defects that had yet developed as a result of the fall of man. By the time of Abraham, God had not yet declared this kind of marriage to be contrary to His will (see Genesis 20:12). Laws governing incest apparently did not become enacted until the time of Moses (Lev 18:7-17; 20:11,12,14,17,20,21). Hence, there was no prohibition regarding marrying a sister (or niece or grandniece) in the days of Cain.

ok one more time- it says in the Bible that Adam and Eve were the first people. Does it say any freakin where in there that they were the ONLY people? no it does not!!! There was that place called the land of Nod where the living one went to get his wife....The Bible has more stuff chopped out of the original version that it is not even real anymore...so if you insist on believing the Bible please think about what was left unsaid as much as what was said...
And wow do I see people thumb downin me hard on this one...I will probably even get reported

Another one of many things that they try but can't explain in the bible. But remember! Don't question it! Just follow blindly!
And if eve and more kids, wouldn't that mean incest? And what is this land of nod that other people were at? I thought Adam and eve were the 1st. Or were there many little settlements that they didn't tell us? Inquiring minds what to know!

It doesn't mention it in the bible but they also had two daughters, Cain left with one when he was cast out and the other stayed with Seth.

It's in the book of Adam and Eve.

Cain left with Luluwa and Seth stayed with Aklia

even if one accepts the standard eden myth as written, Cain, at a time when theoretically only he, mom and dad are alive, asks ol' YHVH about what will happen when he runs into other people. Therefore, even he knew that other people existed at this same time, and THUS the eden creation myth can be interpreted as a creation of the Hebrews, not the creation of all humans.
