I know that many horror movies have occultic overtones but is it as bad?

Just because you like to watch horror movies doesn't mean you're involved in the occult. They're not real, they're fiction. It's like saying kids shouldn't read Harry Potter because those books promote witchcraft. It's FICTION, people!

Horror movies are fiction.If you like them watch them.
