The difference is that since Zeus is not omnipotent and is constrained by the physical dimension, he is easily falsible since we can already prove that there are no gods living on mount olympus and have instantly observable evidence that lightling is caused by completely natural processes. And while God created natural laws and directly intervenes on certain occasions such as the ten plagues, the view of most Christians is that God does not directly intervene in everyday occurences like lightling but allows the natural laws to direct themselves.

Sorry, but your argument doesn't really hold water. Nor does it turn it into wine.

First, show me where the ancient Greeks actually believed that the Gods lived actually, as opposed to figuratively, on Mt. Olympus, rather than Olympus being a metaphor. Were it more than metaphor, there would have been no need for temples or statues.

What you've basically said in your argument though is this: You are relying on some sort of negative evidence to show that other religions may not be 100% true, and you believe that such evidence does not exist for your own.

The fact that almost every belief of Christianity has roots or precursors in other religions, to the point that they quite appear to be copies of earlier religions is ignored. The fact that there are many other scriptures that have been ignored by Christianity, and that only the ones that supported a specific viewopoint were selected to be part of the Christian canon is dismissed, and countered with the idea that God told a few people which were to be included.

The fact that Christians claim that God can perform miracles, make the blind see, the lame walk, and even raise people from the dead, yet never regrows plucked eyes, restores amputated limbs, repairs severed spinal cords, or restores life to those dead for days today seems to remain a mystery.

Christianity is full of unsupported ideas. The claims of miracles, yet no evidence of real miracles would seem to make Christianities claime somewhat falsifiable as well.

Christianity claims fulfilled prophecy as evidence of its veracity. Other religions have such as well. Take the Roman gods who foretold that when Rome fell away from them, or stopped believing in them, that Rome would fall. It wasn't long after Rome became Christian that Rome fell. One could say that the Roman gods were as viable as the Chrsitian ones.

Look at the behavior of specific religons. Christianity claims to be one of love, yet they have been more murderous than most any on Earth.

Christianity is in no way provable. There is great evidence agianst the claims of Cristianity. The fruits of Christianity are poisoned with murder and genocide. I'd say that it is is as easy to disprove Christianity as any real religion that has ever existed. I'll grant that such religions as "the force", based on Star Wars are likely to be shown to be artificial, and that there is sufficient evidence to call such mere fabrications. Still, any other real religious system is able to hold at least as much water as Christianity.

You are a fool to take things so literally.

Zeus probably does live on Mount Olympus but simply has the power to make himself invisible to people who go there.

I am a Celtic Pagan not an Ancient Greek Pagan but I don't reject their beliefs. The arrogant belief that there can be only 1 God is so insane.

Laws of nature are God's involvement: directly or indirectly are simply a matter of your awareness. One could also make the point that God limits himself in order to be omnipotent. Wasn't Jesus constrained by physical dimensions? By even calling God "Jesus" do we limit his power to be "john". How do you know that Zues was not simply limiting his power. Or that Zues was not Jesus, see how similare the names are. How do you know that Zues did not hid Mount olympus from your eyes? How do you know you are not seeing what Zues wants you to see?

Well maybe Mt Olympus is just a different name for heaven.

This is exactly the way you argue when we try to pin you down. The Bible says that plants were created before the Sun. That is false so there it all goes. I can do that all night.
