It is NOT misleading

It's considerably less misleading than this series of questions. In the spirit you ask your questions, I will ask "Why are you 14 feet tall and why do you have seven arms?"
As for animal testing, the testing cannot be misleading - it only generates information. The analysis of that information may be accurate or inaccurate or incomplete. The conclusions drawn from those analyses may be misleading. That's a different question, though.
