There are too many to list, really. If you go to a jobssearch site, like hotjobs.com, you can enter in the location for the jobs you are looking for, and either enter a field in the keyword or job category box, or leave it blank for all responses.
I just did a quick search on hotjobs, and it came up with 28,682 open positions for companies like Bloomingdales, Conde Nast, Tiffany & Co., Macy's, and MetLife.
You can do the same search on Monster.com also for more responses.

Don't know if this would interest you but Avon hires all across the country. You could do Avon no matter where you live. I just happen to live in NYC and there are so many people here you always have customers. Only $10 to start and you could sign up online.
