no, actually it isnt.
what you need before workout is some complex carbs like a banana, a few pretzels, whole grain cereal etc., body digests them fast and transfers into energy to fuel your workout.
if you eat peanut butter body will spend a lot of energy digesting it, because it contains a lot of fat (good fat though).
the best time to get protein is wright after work outs - it repairs muscles.

not really. Peanut butter is classified as a fat and what it will do is give you an energy boost. the best thing to have before a work out is a small portion of complex carbs (slice of bread), this will give you the energy to workout at your best with out adding unnecessary fats to your system. Don't over indulge on food before as workout as you want you body to use its energy building muscles not digesting food.

Peanut butter is high in protein, complex carbs, and fat. But I don't think when you eat it is important.

it's not going to hurt any like there is alot of protein in it so obviously it's going to help you grow a little
